Updates

I'm back from my roadtrip! And I managed to try two delicious veggie burgers while I was in Canada, so I can't wait to post those reviews - I also have to catch up and post the review of the burger I ate at my sister's college when I attended her graduation last weekend!

And in case you aren't already following Bianca's blog Vegan Crunk, you should definitely check out this great post she wrote about the top 5 burgers in Memphis!

  3. not really burgers, but if you like tacos I highly recommend "Hot Beans Vegan Take Out in Kensington Market (on Baldwin St - I don't remember the exact address) Their jackfruit tacos are to die for.

Also in Kensington is Kings Cafe - even my meat eater friends rave about this place. The first time my husband I went there he was *sure* they served him meat - it was mushrooms.

The Beet at 2945 Dundas St W is Omni - but they have an awesome vegan burger - they also have a kids (and even baby) menu that they can vegan-atize

again on Dundas there is Rawlicious - a totally raw restaurant that is my current not-so-guilty pleasure 3092 Dundas St W

at 478 Queen St West, we have Fressen - all entres are $9 which is amazing for the food they serve
That's all I can think of right now. I know we have money many more. Toronto is very very good to the veg*n/gultan free/ however else you want to eat foodies.

  4. Thanks so much! I might be going back to Toronto at the end of the summer, so I'll try to check out a lot of these places then, they all sound delicious, and even in the short time that I spent there last week I was very impressed by how conscious most of the places we ate at seemed to be regarding allergies/dietary-restrictions :)
